Wondering what film for your Instax? Here’s our Fujifilm Instax compatibility chart which covers ALL the models and even those of other manufacturers. Find out the right format for your camera.
Does Instax film fit all Instax cameras?
No, all Instax cameras only support specific Instax film. The good news is, there are only 3 different Instax film to know about. Here’s a comparison of their sizes below:
All of the Instax films are 3.4 inches tall but vary in length because of their aspect ratio. The Instax mini is pretty much standard business card size. Because of the varying size all Instax films do not fit all Instax cameras and printers.
Fujifilm used to make the Pivi film and cameras but this has long bee discontinued and it is simply not worth getting those printers unless for collection purposes.
Now that we’ve seen that they are not compatible, let’s look at the Fujifilm Instax compatibility chart to figure out which film is right for your camera.

What film for your Instax camera?
Here is how you find the correct film for your Instax camera. Look at the left column for the name of your camera or simply search for it at the bottom of the column. Once you see it, look at the column that says “Film”. This is the correct Instax film for your particular model.
For the example on top I searched for Liplay, and the result came back that the correct film is the Instax mini.
What cameras use a specific Instax film?
If you have a particular Instax format you like and want to see what other cameras support it, put the film you would like (Instax mini, square, wide) at the bottom of the ‘Film” column, in the search area. This will display all of the compatible cameras.
What Polaroid supports Instax? What printers support a specific Instax film?
Because the Fujifilm compatibility chart above is interactive, you can use the search bar to find specific makers and printers that support Instax. For example if you want to see what Polaroids shoot Instax, search for their name under the “Maker” column”.
Please note that Polaroid doesn’t support Instax and vice versa in general but Polaroid rebranded some Fuji cameras as Polaroid making them compatible.
If you want to see the printers that support Instax, search for “Printer” under the type column. You can further search for printers that only support a specific Instax format, etc.
